Sonia Slater


Sonia qualified in 1997 having spent several years prior to qualifying as a Tax Adviser in private accountancy practice.  She specialises in the Private Client area of law being Wills (both simple and complex), the varying of wills via Deeds of Variation, Probate, Tax and Trusts, Estate Planning, Offshore issues (regarding domicile and residence) and Court of Protection work to include the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and Receivership matters.  She has considerable experience also in contentious Probate involving claims under the 1975 Inheritance Act where “disappointed” beneficiaries make a claim having been left out of an estate to which they felt they were entitled to be included.
